Spring 2026: Updates and Reflections

Dear Community,

We hope everyone has been staying safe and healthy as the tides turn rapidly around us. Amidst the tumultuousness of more war, pain, and suffering, we maintain a discipline of hope as we see more and more people gain clarity on the plague that is whiteness, and take steps to heal through collective action and personal transformation.

In this newsletter, we have three key things to share with you, as well as three upcoming announcements to stay tuned for.

🌱 The Libertroph Team is growing!

We’re excited to share that we’re opening two roles for folks to join our small but mighty team of volunteers. Please check them out below, and if you or a friend are interested, we would love to hear from you.

📪 Issue 02 Call for Submissions is closed!

We received over 100 submissions from nearly 60 artists, writers, and organizers for Issue 02: Lineage! It was tough to narrow down, but in the end we selected 18 pieces to move forward with. It’s been a true joy to see the creative power that exists among white folks devoted to shaping a new, anti-racist culture, and to learn about several new (to us) white anti-racist ancestors! Thank you to everyone who entrusts this space with your art and stories. We can’t wait to share them with the world.

💌 Libertroph was featured on KGNU Radio!

It was a delight to speak with Libertroph Issue 01 contributor, kelly drumright, on the KGNU Radio show Outsources. In this two-part conversation series, we got to share more about the process of co-creating Libertroph, our thoughts on money and how we’re attempting to defy capitalist norms, and so much more.

👀 Stay tuned

In the coming months, we’ll be:

  • Co-hosting a book talk/ art build in NYC

  • Launching a membership community

  • And more?

Reach out if you have questions, feedback, or ideas on how we might collaborate.

We appreciate you all and send you endless courage and compassion as we venture toward a new, liberated world 🪐

With love,

Alyssa & Julienne
